Dear Birthmom,
We feel like this is all about you and your child, but I’m sure you would like to hear about the future family of your precious child so you have the comfort of knowing the overwhelming love, safety and future your precious child will have their entire life.
We are Tammy, Dave and Breanne. We are not new to the adoption process because almost five years ago we were blessed with the adoption of our precious little girl who is more than excited to be getting a baby brother or sister. Please know that your little one will be in the most caring, loving, affectionate home and will grow up with the greatest big sister that any child could ever ask for.
Dave and I have known each other since high school. When we were in school, we were just passing classmates that would occasionally say hello in the halls until one day, two years later, we ended up working at the same company and that was the beginning of our everlasting love for each other. We have so much in common that even all our hobbies and things we like to do are the same. We both love to spend time with our daughter, play games, go to parks, go swimming, go to a nearby beach, bike ride, go for walks with friends and visit family. We got together at an insurance company, which is Tammy’s occupation, and Dave is an IT Technician.
We are both very family oriented and have many friends. Even though our friends are not related, our daughter calls them all aunts and uncles. We spend a lot of time with family and every weekend is occupied with some kind of family activity. They are all so anxious to have a new baby in the family.
We are very lucky to have found our dream home. It’s in a small, new development on top of a mountain in the woods with plenty of land to play and run around on. In our backyard, we have a playground with a swing set, a play house with a front porch and a swimming pool for the summer time. Our home is a colonel farm house with a wrap around front porch. It has four bedrooms and a family room that was turned into a playroom. We are very close with all our neighbors and we treat each other like family.
We are extremely honored that you took the time to read our letter. We want to let you know how very courageous and unselfish we think you are to make the decision to find a loving family to raise your beloved child. We cannot imagine the hardships you are facing at this time of your life but we think you are amazingly strong and so compassionate, to give strangers a second chance at the ultimate gift of parenthood.
Sincerely,
Tammy, Dave and Breanne
