Marshall and Barbara

You Are In Our Prayers:

We pray that God will bless you with strength and courage during this challenging time in your life.  May you find peace in your heart knowing that the gift of life that you give to your child and the gift of adoption that will allow two people to become parents are acts of true love and sacrifice.  We would like to share the love that we have in our hearts with you, to nurture you and cherish you through this difficult time.

We come from two different cultures. Marshall is from the United States and Barbara is from Italy. Our paths crossed during a good-ole backyard BBQ in Italy where we met, fell in love, married and became the best of friends. We enjoy doing everything together such as hiking and mountain biking during the summer and cross-country skiing, gazing at the fireplace, playing cards, or watching a romantic/comical Italian movie during the winter. We recently rode bikes for 45 km on a bicycle trail across the Italian border into Austria. We can not wait to be able to put a bicycle seat on the back of our bikes and take our child for a wonderful ride.

Italy is full of art and history no matter where we go, whether it is traveling together or experiencing new and interesting places/cultures off the beaten path. Our time together has really allowed us to grow as a couple and has without a doubt given us a greater appreciation of the blessings we have in our lives:  family, friends, health and security.

Marshall is in the military. He loves children and can not wait to share his love, fun personality and sense of adventure with our child. He looks forward to teaching them how to play sports, educating them about the history of Italy and the United States, and visiting places like Euro Disney, Disney World, and water parks. Camping, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, and attending Italian soccer matches are other favorite pastimes he can’t wait to enjoy with our child.

Barbara is a secretary for the small wood crafting family business that her father established some 40+ years ago. She has the patience of an angel, which is probably why her name fits her so well, “Saint” Barbara. Her deep family values and life experiences have prepared her to be the greatest and most compassionate mother ever.

We will consider ourselves fortunate and blessed to receive your gift of love. You are truly loved by God and we love and respect you as well.

Prayerfully,

Marshall and Barbara
