Jeffrey and Cristen

Dear Birthmother,

We are Jeffrey and Cristen. Jeffrey and I are thankful that you have chosen adoption for your child. We know that we will be able to provide a wonderful home filled with lots of love and care. We are very excited about creating a family through adoption. This child will have security in the knowledge that we love him/her unconditionally. We look forward to teaching our children about life and how to live life to the fullest with good values, peace, and joy.

We are very active people with a variety of interests. We enjoy many activities together and are looking forward to sharing these activities with our children. We enjoy playing basketball, softball, tennis, bicycling, and hiking. We like to go to the movies and watch television together. We often socialize with family and friends, playing cards and games. I like to read, sing, and cook. Jeffrey collects Coke memorabilia and is an assistant coach of a little league baseball team during the summers. He also plays fantasy football and baseball.

Jeffrey works as a physical therapist at a local hospital in the rehabilitation unit. Currently, I work as a registered nurse in a doctor’s office. Most importantly, when we have children, I will be a stay-at-home mom. I have always looked forward to being home with my children. We have a lovely, spacious home in a quiet neighborhood where our child will have his/her own room. We also have a large fenced-in backyard with two Siberian huskies, Chopin and Juneau, who can’t wait to welcome this little baby!

We usually go on a vacation at least once a year. We like to camp or stay in motels, depending on the vacation. We have been to many different places across the United States, as well as overseas to Jamaica. Jeffrey has family in Jamaica, England, Canada, and the United States. My family is mostly in the Midwestern United States. We enjoy visiting family, including our two young nieces, ages 2 and 7, and our two godchildren ages 4 and 7. We love spending time with them. My parents just live two hours from us, and Jeffrey’s mom lives a half-hour from us. They are really excited about the adoption of their future grandchildren.

Jeffrey and I are committed Christians. We love the Lord and each other. We are actively involved in our church, including the children’s ministry, where we interact with the children, sing, do puppet shows, crafts, and games. We love to see the children laugh and sing! It is a fun way for them to learn how to live a full, productive life with peace, joy, and love. We want our children to be confident with who they are.

We thank you for the wonderful gift of life that you are choosing for this child. As you struggle with this important decision, we want you to know we will love him/her with all our hearts, provide for, and give him/her the best life that we can. We will always be committed to this precious child.
