Hi, we’re Rick and Berni and we are so excited to start this journey with you!! We want you to know that we admire your courage and selflessness in considering adoption for your child. In our years together, we have shared all sorts of adventures – snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, tromping through castles in Europe, snowboarding in the Rockies, and dining with Mickey at Disney World – but home and family always kept us grounded.

Our dreams for your baby are to give him or her lots of love and to share our fun activities and happy family life. The nursery will be filled with toys and books which will help your child learn and have fun. We all look forward to watching your child get his or her first tooth, look at a beautiful rainbow for the first time, and discover the mysteries of God’s creation.

We can’t wait to talk about our day or how school went with your child at the dinner table every night. We're going to cheer for our favorite teams together. We're going to play until we get worn out... the list can go on and on as long as we are always together.
