Dear Birthmom,

I was pregnant, broke and ashamed to tell anyone about my problems. A friend could see my worries on my face and told me to call Carol Gindi. I was scared and I didn't know what I would say to her. My friend also called Carol and gave her my name and number. A few days later Carol called me. She was so warm and caring. I then realized my fears were stupid. She provided housing for me and found me a wonderful lady who had her only daughter die at 12 years old.

Carol and Nicole (the adoptive mom) were by my side always and they were so loving. For the first time since I got pregnant I felt like I was doing the right thing for me and my unborn baby. I figured after the birth they wouldn't have anymore to do with me, but I was wrong. Carol got me enrolled in a vocational school. I'm a massage therapist and I love it. I am getting on my feet again. I have a great future to look forward to. Carol calls and checks in with me all the time to see how I am doing. We have had many visits and got together in the past months.
