It was a beautiful summer day -- the kind of day you would order up for your outdoor summer event, if only you could. Our extended families came from all over California as well as from states throughout the U.S....from as far away as Ohio and Louisiana.
This year, about 300 attendees spent their day with their "extended family members" at ANLC's Annual Family Picnic at Irvine Regional Park in Orange, California. The kids, as always, thrilled in the two big bounce houses and participated in a handful of organized games with some of their new-found “cousins”. Like one big happy family, we all gathered to share in the laughter and fun-filled spirit.
This year, for the first time, we had a balloon artist who was tied up all day creating special order balloon masterpieces. From swashbuckling swords to delicate flower bracelets, all the kids enjoyed their individual surprises. Once again, two face painters were constantly busy artfully painting the beautiful faces of the excited little boys and girls. There was, of course, a full staff cheerfully barbequing summer delicacies, swirling heaping mounds of pink cotton candy and popping fresh popcorn!!
The company picnic is a beloved tradition at ANLC -- it is more than a company picnic…it is a Family Reunion. It's an opportunity for employees to mingle and "let down their hair" and enjoy the day with 300 of our closest friends and family.
We all look forward to an even bigger and better event next year!!
