Adoption Network Law Center kicks off its Annual Holiday Food Drive
LAKE FOREST, Calif., Nov. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Adoption Network Law Center (ANLC) kicked off its annual holiday food drive today to benefit families in need through South County Outreach.
Adoption Network Law Center reviews many worthy charitable organizations. Kristin A.F. Yellin, Chief Legal Counsel is proud to support South County Outreach. "South County Outreach makes such a huge difference in the lives of so many needy children. It warms my heart to see so many children and their families being helped in such a material way. I feel blessed to play even a small part of their mission." South Orange County Outreach strives to create a community where no one experiences hunger or homelessness. Annually, South County Outreach assists more than 9,000 South Orange County residents through more than 55,000 services. Sadly, forty-five percent of the people that need their help are children.
To help children and their families in need, Adoption Network Law Center is asking for the public's assistance in making sure that no Orange County family goes without a holiday meal this season. Businesses, schools, faith-based organizations and other community groups are encouraged to organize food drives throughout the holiday season. If you wish to participate with Adoption Network Law Center's food drive to South County Outreach, food donations will be accepted through the end of December 2013 and need to be dropped off at ANLC headquarters.
Adoption Network Law Center Selects Family to Receive Pro Bono Services in Honor of National Adoption Month
LAKE FOREST, Calif., Nov. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Adoption Network Law Center, a California law corporation assisting hopeful Adoptive Parents and Birth Mothers nationwide with their adoption plans, will be providing free services to one family in honor of National Adoption Month.
After asking for hopeful Adoptive Parents to share their stories of what led them to adoption, Adoption Network Law Center reviews all submissions and selects one family to provide pro bono services to. On National Adoption Day, Adoption Network Law Center announced this year's winners, Toby and Stephanie.
Toby and Stephanie have always wanted a family. Having served around the world on missions trips, they have also always had adoption in their hearts. When they found that they could not conceive naturally, they stated: "We both realized that we were not 'losing out' on anything by not being able to have children naturally. God's design for our family is to be fulfilled through adoption."
"This is the second year Adoption Network Law Center has been able to give back to our community by providing pro bono services in honor of National Adoption Month and we are thrilled to do this and be able to raise adoption awareness." stated Kristin A.F. Yellin, Chief Counsel of Adoption Network Law Center.
November has been celebrated as National Adoption Month since 1995 to build awareness of adoption in the U.S., funded by the Children's Bureau.
Adoption Network Law Center Offers Pro Bono Adoption Services to David and Melissa in Honor of National Adoption Month
In honor of National Adoption Month, November 2012, ANLC called for hopeful Adoptive Parents across the United States to submit their stories and information and selected one family to offer pro bono adoption services to. Overwhelmingly excited didn't begin to describe how ANLC felt when calling David and Melissa of Tennessee to offer them pro bono adoption services!
It was a very difficult decision to choose only one Adoptive Family, as all the stories tugged on ANLC's heartstrings. Therefore, ANLC created a program specifically for all of the hopeful Adoptive Parents who submitted their stories. It is ANLC's hope that through this program they will also be able to start their adoption journeys.

Law Center uses Casual Friday to Raise $500 for Team NEGU
Team NEGU is honored to have the support of Adoption Network Law Center. This great group of people have started doing Charity Casual Fridays. Their goal goal is to benefit local organizations that impact children/families. We will continue to do this on a quarterly basis. They chose The NEGU Foundation as their first quarterly participant because of the amazing and inspiring work that Jessie does.
According to Kris Yellin, "Employee donations for Casual Friday amounted to $203 in cash and the company has matched that. In addition, we have passed around a JOY Jar for donations and some of us who participated in a "Biggest Loser" challenge have donated our winnings! I believe the grand total is around $500.00"

Two Paths that Were Meant to Cross
A few years ago, Adoption Network Law Center developed a working relationship with a Texas attorney/agency. We just received this letter and photograph from them and it truly brought new meaning to our promise “Saving Babies. Building Families.®” We share this story with you in the hopes that you will share in our joy!
Hello Adoption Network Law Center,
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how wonderful we think you all are. A few years ago, before we found Adoption Network Law Center, we questioned whether we were doing what we were supposed to be, whether to continue on this path. Because of Adoption Network Law Center, we have now been able to hire more people and specifically started humanitarian efforts in Uganda. Because of Adoption Network Law Center, we will soon begin construction on a 20 bed orphanage to help the children of
Uganda. Because of Adoption Network Law Center, we have been able to provide medical care to the twins shown in the picture. They were born prematurely. Their mother died and they were found in a trash can. Because of Adoption Network Law Center, they will come out of the hospital next week.
So, when you have those days when you question your path, please know that two little babies in Uganda are thankful for all that you do.
Birth Mother Tea Party
Without the Birth Mothers who make the courageous decision of adoption, Adoption Network Law Center and our Adoptive Parents would not be able to experience the love and wonder that is our CHOSEN Children®. These women make the most difficult choice imaginable and we at Adoption Network Law Center are proud to honor them. In 2010, we hosted our very first Birth Mother Tea Party where some of our Birth Mothers from years past and their Advisors were able to come together and talk about their adoptions and where life has since taken them. Wonderful memories were made and we are looking forward to this new annual tradition! Click here to view the photos
