Adoption Network Law Center supports Adoption Awareness and helps kick off National Infertility Awareness Week
Lake Forest, CA – October 9, 2007 – In the interest of supporting National Infertility Awareness Week and Adoption Awareness in November, Adoption Network Law Center is lending its support by co-sponsoring an event for RESOLVE members to raise adoption awareness and some funding for other free-to-the-public adoption educational programs.
By helping to sponsor this event, ANLC is hoping to allow RESOLVE to buy out the seats on November 4th so that RESOLVE members can attend at low or no cost. The event, ...AND BABY MAKES TWO, An Adoption Tale, written and performed by adoption advocate Nanci Christopher tells the story of a single woman facing numerous obstacles and challenges in her quest to fulfill her deepest desire...motherhood. Tumultuous and amusing, this real life story of one woman’s experiences in the world of adoption is an inspiring tale about creating a family for oneself. More importantly, it's a story of hope and faith, and about having a dream and making it a reality...no matter what. The play will be at The Other Space at the Santa Monica Playhouse in Santa Monica, CA on Fridays and Saturdays 8:00 p. m., Sundays at 6:00 p. m. October 12th - November 18th. According to April A. Cognito of Adoption Network Law Center, “One of the benefits of being the nation’s premiere adoption law center is being able to participate in various educational events to help promote adoption and infertility awareness. By partnering with organizations like RESOLVE we are reminded as to why we got into this amazing line of work in the first place."
